Selectionevent forthe "Top Ten Works" of the 2nd "GETshow Cup" Youth Stage Lighting Designer Contestant, has officially launched on September 25th, 2023, attracting the attention of youth stage lighting designers nationwide! The registration and work submission deadlineare up to December 31, 2023! We look forward to enthusiastic registration from young designers!

01 Activity Background

Guangzhou Entertainment Technology Show (GETshow), organized by Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment, will be held on March 3-6, 2024 in the brand-new pavilion- Zone D of Canton Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China.

Following the successful holding of the first "GETshow Cup" in 2023, the Association will continue to play the role of GETshow as a platform and continue to host the Selection event for the "Top Ten Works" of the Second "GETshow Cup" Youth Stage Lighting Designer Contestantin 2024.

This event will join forces with the country's top professional colleges,industry authoritative business associations and well-known enterprises to cultivate new generation of talents in the industry, support the growth of young stage lighting designers and integrate industrial resources to empower young talents, and further demonstrate the new style of current domestic young stage lighting designers.

Student Group

College students majoring in stage lighting design.

Professional Group

Professionals engaged in stage lighting design, under or within 40 years old.

04 Entry Requirements

Entries must be original and have no copyright disputes.The design, creation and use of the works must comply with national laws and regulations.

Presentation Forms

Contestants in the student group choose their own themes to perform lighting programing performances (there are no restrictions on the form of opera, drama, dance drama, musical, light show, etc.).

Contestants in the professional group provide a live video of the actual stage lighting show and the video of the lighting programme.

RequirementsforWorks

Duration: About3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Software: There is no limit to the lighting programming preview software.

Video output format: MP4

05 Participation Way

Please submit your works to the Organizing Committee by e-mails for review by the judges. After a fair and impartial review by the professional jury, the top 10 works in each of the student group and professional group will be selected as the "Top Ten Works".
